And did some proper good snow slides. I was surprised by the huge amount of lock it has as I could just give it more and more angle. I play various sims a lot with my logitech wheel but that was my very first time doing a proper slide in a rwd vehicle and people can say all they want about simulators, but I felt very comfortable throwing it around, just like in Live for Speed or something.
Anyway it was great fun and I surprised myself quite a bit. Here's a miata with my favorite wheels of all time.

Someone broke that poor miata... It won't get off the ground.

That Miata... why do people do things like that too them?
For the real story, take that thing to an abandoned parking lot and hoon it there. I can't tell you how much that has taught me to drive in the winter.

Oh believe me that's not really necessary. Although tsk tsk I know I did it on the street I had some absolutely massive slides around bends on the way home.

Im fine with street hoonage as long as there is no one else around. Im glad that you have the experience. Me and my friends did some hooning an saturday around Canton Mi before we went to the auto show. We were driving a new Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk tho :)

I was worried that all this time I play on my wheel that real life would end up being nothing like it and I was not disappointed. I felt pretty comfortable. I did have a slight moment where I caught some pavement in the middle of the snow but nothing I couldn't keep under control.

Yes. Video games can only do so much. When your actually spinning the wheel and feel the g forces on your body its so much better.

Well I use the logitech racing wheel so though I don't think it will make you a better driver, but to someone that understands whats different about it and real life, it does good to help your reflexes. But definitely, getting your cues from things you can actually feel is not only easier but more fun. I have a problem with that in games sometimes, I dont really know when is the best time to start braking from top speed, as you can't really feel how fast you're going or how many g's youre pulling through the corner. You know. The real deal is definitely better but the wheel is good if youre bored at night :D

Ah yes. I tend to go the GTA 5 way so i can run over hookers with my car.
(Don't do that in real life)
Also buy a Miata to get some awesome real life feel of how a car handles. Preferably a NB body style. (im biased cause i have one)

I have actually becoming more and more fond of miatas lately. It had always been that car I liked and thought was cool but couldn't really see myself in but that has definitely changed. I'm really getting to like them. Plus I just want to experience a proper rwd car.
